There are different ways of Approaching
Fitness. One method is by
body recomposition. What it means by this term is to build muscle while you are
losing fat. This is a rather radical way of Approaching Fitness as some believe that it is not possible for it
to happen simultaneously but that there are different phases. One phase which
is the reduction of fat is known as cutting and the phase which consists of
building muscle is called bulking.
This method of Approaching
Fitness consists of maximizing the body mass by increasing the protein
intake. If the protein content is more than 3 grams for each kg of your weight,
there will be very little loss of muscle.
When Approaching
Fitness by this method, muscle can be gained while fat is burned. However,
this needs to be done in conjunction with lifting weights or optimal resistance
training. When optimal resistance training is considered, the large muscle
groups are targeted with increased frequency using increased weights and
decreased rest periods. This increases the spike of the growth hormone as well
as testosterone.
When weights are lifted, more carbohydrates need to be
consumed so that the glycogen in the muscles is restored. This helps to refill
the glycogen levels. This also helps to make the thyroid’s functioning better.
On the days you do not lift weights, you need to increase the calories you gain
from fat. This helps to keep the person full. Infact fats are better at making
the person feel satisfied as compared to carbohydrates and hence you are able
to lose weight even by increasing your content of fats.
You also need to change and alter the way in which the
weights are lifted. This allows the muscles to be pushed to a new level else
the person will plateau. This in short is the new method of Approaching Fitness.
